Welcome to Plympton Flyers Little Athletics
Plympton Flyers run a Sunday morning athletics program at Hamilton Secondary College from October through March.
We encourage children aged from U/6 to U/17 to strive to achieve their best in the full range of track and field athletic events.
Ages 3 & 4 are also catered for in our fun games and skills-based Tiny Tots program.

The 2025/26 Summer Little Athletics season has concluded. Thank you to everyone who attended, and congratulations to our athletes and parents on a great season. We look forward to seeing you all in October for the 2026/27 Summer Little Athletics season start!
Winter Season
The Winter Season consists of Cross Country and Race Walking activities. Both programs welcome athletes of all abilities and provide a fun environment to try something new, fine-tune skills and keep active over the Winter!

🏅 CLUB RECORDS BROKEN - Throws Edition - 2025/26 Season (4 of 4) We wrap up our 2025/26 records series with our throws athletes — seven records across six athletes, from U6 all the way through to U17! 📋 𝗨𝟲 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗩𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘅 | 𝗟𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘂𝘀 📏 𝟵.𝟴𝟲𝗺 (15 Mar 2026) Prev: 9.84m — Sara Nehme (2022/23) 🗓 Record age: 3 years The slimmest of margins — just 2 centimetres. Wonderful effort from Lila in her first season! ⭐ 📋 𝗨𝟭𝟬 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗣𝘂𝘁 𝟮𝗸𝗴 | 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 📏 𝟳.𝟰𝟬𝗺 (8 Feb 2026) Prev: 7.28m — Kellie Francis (2011/12) 🗓 Record age: 14 years A 14-year-old record broken by 12 centimetres! To top off a remarkable season, Amber also claimed a 🥉 Bronze medal at the State Individual Championships. ⭐ 📋 𝗨𝟭𝟭 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝟱𝟬𝟬𝗴 | 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗰𝘇𝘆𝗸 📏 𝟮𝟬.𝟳𝟰𝗺 (22 Feb 2026) Prev: 20.13m — Summer Morgan (2022/23) 🗓 Record age: 3 years Maria's second centre record of the season, alongside her 1500m — a standout multi-event year. Maria also claimed a Silver medal at the State Combined Event Championships (Pentathlon) — a performance that captured the all-round athlete she is. 🥈⭐ 📋 𝗨𝟭𝟰 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝟰𝟬𝟬𝗴 | 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗯 📏 𝟮𝟰.𝟵𝟴𝗺 (12 Oct 2025) Prev: 21.90m — Keeley Kustermann (2017/18) 🗓 Record age: 8 years Ruby set this record on the very first meet of the season — over 3 metres beyond the previous mark — and it stood all year! ⭐ 📋 𝗨𝟭𝟳 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝟱𝟬𝟬𝗴 | 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 📏 𝟮𝟬.𝟰𝟱𝗺 (23 Nov 2025) Prev: 18.65m — Allegra Lazzaro (2023/24) 🗓 Record age: 2 years Jessica broke her own record of 18.69m set just one week earlier on the way to this mark. Congrats Jess!⭐ 📋 𝗨𝟭𝟳 𝗕𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝟭.𝟱𝗸𝗴 | 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 📏 26.45m (15 Mar 2026) Prev: 23.58m — Jack Hodson (2023/24) 🗓 Record age: 2 years Lucas improved the record by nearly 3 metres, having also broken it twice earlier in the season! ⭐ 📋 𝗨𝟭𝟳 𝗕𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝟳𝟬𝟬𝗴 | 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 📏 𝟮𝟮.𝟳𝟲𝗺 (7 Dec 2025) Prev: 19.90m — Jack Hodson (2023/24) 🗓 Record age: 2 years Over 2.8 metres beyond the previous mark. And what a journey to finish on — Lucas has been a Plympton Flyer for 11 seasons, from U7 all the way through to U17.
