TRAINING COURSES
Parents and senior athletes who would like to develop their knowledge and skills in athletics have the ideal opportunity through the Little Athletics structure. The association has two groups who can assist in your education.
COACHES CLUB
The coaches club are responsible for coordinating coaching courses for the beginner to competition level coaching requirements:
1. Introduction to Athletics course - 4 to 5 hours in the basics (Ideal for a Chaperone or parent just wanting to understand the basics).
2. Orientation to Coaching course - 10 hours and takes you to the next level and is suited to the parent wanting to coach at Little Athletics.
3. Level 1 National Accredited course - 2 days and is for the coach wanting to coach at higher levels (Run by Athletics SA)

If you have any enquiries regarding these courses, please contact the coaching or officials coordinator and see when and where the next course is operating. The Centre welcomes any parent or athlete willing to become qualified. Plympton Centre covers fees associated with most of these courses.
