TRAINING COURSES
Parents and senior athletes who would like to develop their knowledge and skills in athletics have the ideal opportunity through the Little Athletics structure. The association has two groups who can assist in your education.
OFFICIALS CLUB
The officials club are responsible for the training of the officials required to run program events according to the standard rules. e.g. starters, marshalls, timekeepers, track & field officials. (lt helps if you understand the rules to help your child.)
1. C Grade Officials course - 4 to 5 hours in the basics (Ideal for a Chaperone or Parent just wanting to understand basic officiating at Little Athletics).
2. B Grade Officials course - Takes you to the next level and is where you begin to specialise in a particular event and officiate at Association and state events.
3. A Grade Officials course - Top level in Little Athletics.

If you have any enquiries regarding these courses, please contact the coaching or officials coordinator and see when and where the next course is operating. The Centre welcomes any parent or athlete willing to become qualified. Plympton Centre covers fees associated with most of these courses.
